Monster Jam brought to you by Colorado Powersports
Monster trucks have come a long way in a very short period of time. What began as fun and games for a few four-wheeling friends has turned into a multi-million dollar industry that entertains millions each year. Colorado Powersports is helping bring this exciting, car-crushing event to Colorado in the new year on February 10th and 11th at the Pepsi Center.Come see the world's premier monster trucks in the industry like Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, Madusa, Bounty Hunter, Bulldozer, Avenger, Hot Wheels, Monster Mutt, Superman, El Toro Loco and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, designed after the Michelangelo character! These Monster trucks will face off in two different forms of competition -- side-by-side racing and freestyle. Side-by-side racing is traditional bracket racing, where the first truck (with the least amount of penalties) that crosses the finish line is the winner. The freestyle competition allows drivers a limited amount of time on an open floor to show off their skills. Plus, a monster truck and driver will be making a very special appearance at Colorado Powersports Denver on Friday, February 9th from 2-6pm! So don't forget your camera so you can have your picture taken with a monster truck and get an autograph while you're there! We'll also have FREE Pit Party Passes available at Colorado Powersports so pick one up and join us on February 11th from 12:00pm - 1:00pm for Monster Jam's Party in the Pits! |
Colorado Powersports and Freeskier Magazine
Freeskier Magazine asked for our help with this month's Gear Girl photo shoot and we gladly agreed to assist!The Colorado Powersports 2007 Yamaha Apex Mountain snowmobile is almost as hot as Freeskier's Gear Girl Heather from Denver. Colorado Powersports Boulder has them in-stock and ready to be delivered so come and get yours! Colorado Powersports supports the athletes of the NSCD!
Colorado Powersports teamed up with the National Sports Center for the Disabled(NSCD) this year. For every powersport unit that we sold from October 1st to December 15th, Colorado Powersports donated $10 to help children and adults with disabilities enjoy outdoor therapeutic recreation.
With your help, Colorado Powersports was able to raise close to $2400 for the National Sports Center for the Disabled this year. Thank you for helping these great athletes! |
Colorado Powersports presents Snow-X Races
Calling all fans of snow in the high country! Snow Daze is back this year with two events to get you outdoors enjoying all that white stuff! Two clubs,
the Front Range's Colorado Blizzards and North Park's Snowsnakes, are combining to host the most fun available just over the Continental Divide! And, Colorado Powersports will be there because We Support the Sport!
A Presidents' Day weekend of Snow-X (snowcross) and drag races on Walden Reservoir, just west of Walden, CO, on Colorado Highway 14, between Cameron Pass and Steamboat Springs. Join us from 10am to 4pm on February 17 and 18 to watch regional racers do their best on both modified and stock sleds outside North Park's snowmobiling center: Walden, Colorado!
The North Park Snowsnakes have been building a race-worthy track all winter long. Snow gullies have been catching all the snow Wyoming couldn't hang on to this winter. High corners and Big Whoops await the competitors this year! Mountain States Snowmobile Racing (www.mssrracing.com/) will bring its organization, announcers, and competitors to Walden's course for another weekend of top racing fun.
All day Saturday, racers will compete over a course likely the toughest on MSSR's seven race circuit. Come Sunday, the Snow-X races conclude and give way to Drag Races on the flats of Walden Reservoir. Great food will be available both days and Colorado Powersports will be there showing the latest in snowmobiles, gear, and clothing. |
Dyno-Mite! Colorado Powersports Denver Dyno Nights
It's been about a year since Colorado Powersports Denver added a state of the art dyno to our service department and we still love it! Following the success of our Dyno Shootout, we've decided to hold Dyno Nights every month starting in April and continuing through August.
For $20, your motorcycle will get 3 horsepower and torque pulls. We'll also be serving food and raffling away door prizes so come join the fun. Cruiser nights will be from 6pm to 8pm on the 1st Tuesday of every month starting in April through August. Sportbike nights will be from 6pm to 8pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month starting in April through August. The perfect event to see how your ride compares!
