Twice I found myself riding through Colorado with a nail or a bad tire and called powersports I was told I didn't need an appointment just bring it in
I was in and out in an hour and half and back on the road with quality tires priced much cheaper than I would have paid at my home town in Iowa
I was more than impressed with how courteous and professional the staff was I was treated with more respect spending a few hundred dollars on tires here than spending $17,000 on the bike back home

I have been very pleased with my experience with both the parts department and the service department. People in both departments have been very friendly and helpful. I had my motorcycle completely gone over as it had been sitting for some time. I also had the tires replaced. My motorcycle was finished being serviced sooner than I had asked for. My experience with the parts department has also been a pleasant experience. There is enough staff to help that I have never had to wait more then a few minutes even on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Excellent service should be acknowledged and that is exactly what my father and I received at Colorado Powersports. While on a 4,000 mile trip from California to Sturgis, my father's Goldwing GL1500 got a nail in the rear tire and needed to be towed to a dealership for repairs. For those of you who aren't familiar with the GL1500, changing the rear tire requires pulling off the saddlebag and removing everything connected to the swingarm. It is a 4 hour process if you've never done it before. Everyone in the service department understood our predicament and started repairs immediately, even though they had a 5-day backlog of service work in front of us. Normal closing time of 5:00 came and went and they were still working furiously on the bike. The owner joined us during our wait and even apologized that the repairs were taking so long, even though they were doing the best they could and were nothing less than diligent. He even offered to buy us dinner while we waited. What a great guy! Repairs were completed sometime around 6:00 PM and we were back on the road. Wait, I forgot to mention that they gave us a discount on the service rate and cost of the tire as recognition of our long wait to get back on the road. This was completely unnecessary and we were the ones that owed them our debt of gratitude. If our experience is any indication of the normal level of service Colorado Powersports shows all of their customers, you would be foolish to look anywhere else to have service performed or to purchase your next bike. What a great place!!

Parts and Service crews continue to be incredibly helpful. I needed a new rear panel for a scooter and while some shops look down on scooters, your service guy (wish I remembered his name! not Aaron, but maybe Clint?) even helped me figure out how to install it. When it was clear that I needed a tiny piece that I hadn't ordered, he even went in the back and found it for me. Really helpful and saved me a ton of time. Thanks guys! I'll continue to be a loyal customer.

JEREMY HIUSTON--------Outstanding.
I am blown away by the level of not only professional but personal level of customer service that Jeremy Huston showed me, helped me with and for keeping me a much safer rider.
So I had an issue with my motorcycle tire. I called the service dept. and talked to Jeremy Huston on the phone. He was great to work with. I had no clue about tires nor the background. Jeremy took the time with me on the phone without just trying to get me off the phone with my silly questions. He addressed each question, broke them down and explained about tire ware, types of tires and let me know about tires that would work for my riding style, also about the dangers of patching and trying to fix a flat tire.
After work I brought the tire in and waited only a minute or less for service. While he was on the phone he let me know he would help me just after the phone call. After the call Jeremy came around the front counter where I had the tire and looked it over and to my dismay I had no idea that the flat patch around the entire tire was as bad as it was. Jeremy caught that right away and explained what caused it and why it was there. He told me my tire was in bad shape. The tire only had 3000 miles on it so I was shocked.
Jeremy and I talked because I had even more questions at that point and Jeremy was very patient with my ignorance. After the questions Jeremy was spot on with my riding style. He definitely had the experience and knowledge to set me straight on what tire I needed and the background for what brand and type would be great for Colorados conditions and my needs.
He took my tire to the shop to check it out and look at an issue I was having with it. He told me it would take a few mins and he would be right back. He was and told me he had bad news. I figured, how bad could the news be its a tire right! He said my tire was shot and he didnt feel it was safe for me to be on. He followed that up with a straight face and told me he was going to give me a tire that was 95% new and a leader in the industry for my needs for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!! Great Poker Face!
He smiled and I stood there dumbfounded! I had to have him repeat that. He did and said he really didnt feel like it would be safe for me to ride on the tire I brought him. Jeremy then explained that a customer had left these gently used tires at the shop after he changed them out for a race tires and told Jeremy that he didnt want them or have a need for them.
Jeremy said he was happy to be helping me out and happy I was on such a great tire. So much with my problems and man did he solve all of them.
I am excited to know that where I shop that the people I count on are genuine, trustworthy and really are looking out for the safety of ,, ME!

To put it simply Colorado Power Sports Boulder is the best.! If you want it they have it, if they don't have it they can get it, if they can't get it then you probably don't need it. I bought a new 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 650 from them last year and the team was great, from sales and service to parts and the delivery of my bike. They were in fact so great that I refuse to go anywhere else. Customer service to these guys is a top priority and they always deliver. Eric & Chris at the parts counter are friendly and always eager to help and their knowledge is immense. Aaron in the service is phenomenal as well, I wouldn't trust my bike to anyone else.

Every time I go there they make me feel like family. They answer all my question when I have them whether its about my bike or about gear I'm looking to purchase. The truly great thing about this location is if you want to buy something sure they'll sell it to you but there is no pressure, you can shop on your terms and if you don make a purchase that day it's ok and that is awesome. I just picked up a used 2010 Ninja 250 for my 16 year son from a friend who can no longer ride and even though I did not buy it from these guys they are going to still be my go to for parts and service on this bike as well.

if you don't believe me just stop in one day and check them out and you will see that everything I said is true and them some..!!

Not only did they have the helmet in the size and color that I wanted IN STOCK (something nobody had, including finding it online), they held it for me until I could drive up to get it and took the extra time with me to explain to me features and show me extras the helmet had available. I had been to at least 4 other shops and although they were helpful, out of all of these shops they didn't show me that Arai actually has a sunshield visor it can attach on the outside. That feature is new, so it is on backorder, but they have ordered me one and as soon as it comes in stock they will call me to let me know! I can't wait! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I first contacted Greg from the service department by phone and described my problem with my motorcycle. He knew right away how to fix it and said he could do some other things to it, if I wanted, at the same time. Some previous mechanics didn't know how to take care of the problem.
The appointment was kept on time, the work done well, and the cost more than fair. Now my bike works great and I have much more confidence in it. I had to drive almost 500 miles round trip to have Colo. Powersports (in particular Greg) work on the bike, but it was worth it by far.
