Colorado Powersports is very excited about the 2006 race season, which just got underway! Proud sponsor of the National Arenacross, AMA Outdoor National and Rocky Mountain Supercross Challenge, Colorado Powersports is working hard to bring the nation’s best racing to you! We also sponsor several local race events through the MRA, RMXA and SRAC to keep racing alive and well in Colorado.

Team Colorado Powersports racers are gearing up for a full throttle race season. Korry Hogan, the 2004 and 2005 AMA Funnybike Drag Racing Champion, will be competing for his next AMA title on a Top Fuel Dragster flying Team CPS colors. While Shane Turpin, Colorado's #1 plate holder for 2004 and 2005, returns to MRA and AMA competition aboard his CPS sponsored 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R6. Team CPS is also proud to sponsor Brad Hendry, a promising young racer, who just finished 16th in the Daytona AMA superbike race on his CPS sponsored 2005 Suzuki GSXR-1000.

We’re doing it in the dirt too! The opening round of the RMXA at Erie on Feb. 26th was a huge success for Team CPS. Total domination was more like it! Ryan Rozinski won the 250A and Open Pro classes while Jason Labonte won the 125A and College Boy classes. Kelly Spring won the Women's A class and numerous other Team CPS riders had Top Five finishes. Congratulations to all our racers!

Team CPS is taking support to a whole new level. We'll be attending over 20 races, both SRAC and RMXA, with the Team CPS support trailer, which is stocked with a large parts inventory along with a tire machine, compressor and generator.
